Here they are, the most popular recipes of 2012 on Sweet Treats & More (according to you, the readers). I must say it’s been a good year in my kitchen as some new favorite desserts and dishes have emerged for myself as well. Most of my favorites being desserts….big surprise right?

Since my husband is my number one taste-tester I thought I’d include a couple of his favorite desserts and savory dishes from 2012 as well. I was surprised how quickly he came up with these; didn’t even take five minutes to come up with them. Guess that’s when you know you really like something.

This one surprised me! Of all the things I’ve made this year, I never expected this one to be a favorite. It’s not even spicy:) But I will say it’s a good one!!

Wow, those shortcake krispie bars are genius and those crack brownies look irresistible. 2012 was a great year but 2013 will be even better.

Normally I gloss past savory but this is SO me – Caprese Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Balsamic Mayo. I love everything about it! I have a creamy balsamic reduction dip/mayo-ey recipe and I love caprese salads and love my grilled cheese w/ tomatoes. The whole thing is perfect. As well as all the sweets!!

Mmm I made your earthquake cake a few weeks ago and it was SooOOoo good! I made sure I was the one who “washed the pan” so I could scoop out all the leftover gooeyness 🙂 Now I need to try those breadsticks!
