We weren’t exactly sure what to get or how much to spend on Owen for Christmas this year. After all, he’s 22 months old. Do we splurge a little? Keep it simple and small? Will he even grasp the concept? I think we fell somewhere in between…didn’t really splurge but got him more than we originally anticipated. So hopefully he likes opening presents!
I know there’s only a week left before Christmas, but if you’re looking for some ideas for your toddlers here are a few….some are splurges and some not. But if you’re ordering online, order fast!!
1. Gender Neutral Kitchen Play Sets, like this one from KidKraft. Or this more affordable one from Target. (This is on my wishlist for Owen. He would love a little kitchen. His dad, not so fond of the idea!)
2. Any of the Educational Melissa & Doug Toys. Such affordable toys that last!
3. This Art Easel from Ikea is super cheap!
4. And I think these Eco-Kids Eco Crayons are pretty cool.
5. Of course there’s the Let’s Rock Elmo that all kids seems to love. Or anything Elmo, he’ll never go out of style.
6. And these might be more enjoyable for mom and dad, but seriously how cute are these Tiny Toms? I might just have one more thing on my shopping list.
What are you guys getting your toddlers?

I just bought some of those melissa and doug toys for my niece who is 14 months old. We are’t getting little baby A anything this year, but I’m sure she’ll get a million books/clothes/toys from grandparents. 🙂
