I was in and out of the gym this morning in 35 minutes. With a busy day in front of me, I needed it to be quick so it was perfect. In 22 minutes I burned 295 calories. Not bad. The workout went by fast and I didn’t hate the treadmill the entire time.
I ran the recovery minutes at a 7.0 speed and ran the sprints at a 9.0-9.5 speed. It wasn’t easy.
I was a wet sweaty mess by the time I got off of the treadmill and my heart rate was definitely up (I measure that by my panting)
The hardest part of the entire workout was doing the planks. I finished the sets but by the end was doing the cheaty-thing where you drop a knee. So. so. sad. Whatever happened to the abdominal strength I had before having a baby? Oh, you mean I actually have to do abdominal exercises to get them back? Guess I’ve got some work to do.
Note to self: Next time, write the workout down on paper large enough to actually see. Do not try to read the workout from the itty bitty screen of your blackberry while sprinting.
