On Tuesday afternoon I convinced Brett to play hookie with work and join us at the beach for a few hours 😉 He’s really busy with work this time of year (we are all ready for Tax season to be over!) Monday you can’t come soon enough! It took a while for the sun to come out and it was a little windy, but the boys had the best time running around playing football and playing in the water. The tide was pretty high so they didn’t get to get in and really swim or boogie board, but they didn’t mind a bit. I had fun just being behind the camera for a bit too.
We live 25-30 minutes from the beach and make it as often as we can. We are sooo ready for hot summer days that just can’t keep us away form the sand and water! Nevertheless, we needed this beach outing where the boys could just play together!
The boys are all wearing Tom & Teddy Swimwear, a line of swimwear designed just for fathers and sons. How fun right?! It’s an Australian-based company that is all about “friendship, shared experiences and the special bond between fathers and sons.” I couldn’t love this more! I love how much my boys want to be with their dad all the time, and have and wear and do everything he does. Shared experiences really does foster a special relationship between them! We love their fun, bright prints and colors, and they are the best quality swim trunks we’ve ever had. (Worth the investment my friends!) These boys have burned through trunks living here in Southern California. They practically live in them through the summer and Tom & Teddy suits are made to be worn from the beach to the pool– chlorine and salt water resistant and the fabric is super soft and comfy, yet durable. And if it’s okay to say here, those trunks look pretty good on that husband of mine 😉 Love the length and fit for him!
The boys think they are the coolest matching their dad. Love these little beach bums of mine.

Would love some new bathing suits for both my husband and son. My son just turned one and was only a few months old last summer, so we didn’t get to the beach much. We definitely plan on more beach trips this year!

Those are so cute! I love to finally see a “father & son” clothing combo. I feel like it’s usually just “mommy & daughter”. As the mom to two little boys, I love seeing fun prints for boys as well for a change! I’d love to win a set!
Living at the sunshine coast, these shorts would get used so much by my son and his dad – they both love the beach (hubby being a surfer) and we spend hours splashing in the waves, playing in the sand and having fun- having them wear matching boardies would be so cool and they would both get a real thrill out of wearing them 🙂
