Before I met Brett, I was not a “wings” girl. But the very first time I went home with him, his family introduced me to this little wing shaq in Thornton, Colorado that they absolutely love, called Woody’s. I loved it too and since then, I’ve been a “wings girl”. Unfortunately there aren’t any restaurants that serve good wings in Utah, especially when you’re comparing them to Woody’s Wings.
However, the last time Brett’s mom came to visit, she brought us a little treat….3 bottles of Woody’s Wing Sauce!!! Tonight, we put it to use. No, we didn’t make our own wings, not yet anyways. But I did make these super yummy, super easy Buffalo Chicken Wraps.
You can really use any wings sauce, but Woody’s sauce is what makes them sooo great!
What You Need:
2 cups boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders, cubed or shredded
1/2 tsp olive oil
2-3 tbs of your favorite wing sauce
1 c. shredded lettuce
1 tomato diced
1/2 cu shredded cheese
2 whole wheat tortillas (warmed)
Bleu cheese dressing
Directions:
In a large skillet cook chicken in olive oil over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until cooked through; drain. Return chicken to skillet, add desired amount of wing sauce. Bring to a boil, then return to a simmer for 3-5 minutes uncovered.
Warm tortillas (i melted cheese on my tortillas first). Top with chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and bleu cheese dressing. Roll-up like burrito and serve.
So easy!! Enjoy!
