We’re starting to acquire quite the collection of buffalo wing flavored recipes here. We’ve got Buffalo Wing Popcorn, Crock Pot Buffalo Wing Drumsticks, Buffalo Chicken Wraps, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Buffalo Chicken Cheese Bites, Buffalo Wing Turkey Lettuce Wraps .
You’d think someone at our house likes wing sauce or something.
And now we get to add these to the collection. Buffalo Wing Blue Cheese Turkey Meatballs.
These are perfect party food. Serve with a drizzle of buffalo-ranch and a few blue cheese crumbles and watch them vanish (especially in a room full of wing-lovin’, meat lovin’ men). Feel free to use lean ground beef, we just happened to have turkey burger.
If you’re into the whole buffalo wing thing, you should see the collection my sister-in-law Christy has: Buffalo Chicken Nachos, Buffalo Chicken Pasta, Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese, and a few others. We must be married to brothers or something. Or just men.
But I can’t say I don’t like the stuff too.
Buffalo Wing Blue Cheese Turkey Meatballs
Ingredients
1 lb lean ground turkey
1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 large egg
2 tsp wing sauce (franks red hot)
1 tbsp worcestershire
1 tsp ground mustard
1 tbsp grill steak seasoning (like McCormick’s Montreal Steak Seasoning)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
salt and pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400.
In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients and roll into one-inch sized meatballs. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
In a small bowl combine 1 part wing sauce to 3 parts ranch dressing. Use buffalo ranch for dipping or drizzle over the top of meatballs. Sprinkle a few blue cheese crumbles over the top too.
You can also form into a loaf and bake for 45-60 minutes to make meatloaf.

I would NOT be trusted around these bad boys. I am in love.. completely in LOVE with turkey meatball appetizers. whenever I see them being served or out on the table.. i cannot resist. And the buffalo hot sauce and the blue cheese (!!!!) – I would be in heaven. what a creative little snack!

We had these for dinner tonight. My husband and I loved them! Next time I’ll form a few meatballs for the kids, then add the hot sauce and make the rest, and then we’ll all enjoy them.
