One of the recent food trends seems to be stuffing cookies or cookie dough inside of things. I was at the store the other day quickly grabbing a few things I needed for dinner. One of those things being crescent rolls. As I tossed them in my cart and started to walk away, I glanced at the rolls of pre-made cookie dough in the same section. It hit me– “Cookie stuffed crescent rolls.”
I’m probably not the first to think of this. I mean, the two are destined to be together. They share the same shelf in the same section at the grocery store. Pillsbury intended for this to happen, right?
So I tossed in a roll of chocolate chip cookie dough too. That night, those crescent rolls took a backseat to dinner and became a dang good little dessert afterwards.
What you get is a buttery crescent roll filled with a gooey chocolate chip cookie. I hope you like gooey….

We want all that ooey-gooey cookie dough on the inside. We didn’t have the patience to let them cool completely, so if you’re not a fan of the gooey-ness, you might want to (or you may want to cook them a little longer.) But gooey is just how we like our cookies around here….even inside a crescent roll.
looks delish! ๐ love your blog!

This is genius! The possibilities are endless. I’d love for you to share them at Crazy Sweet Tuesdays, my weekly linky party. I can’t get over how great these are. ๐
I just found your photo on foodgawker and had to check out your blog. So lovely! What a fun idea for a quick treat!
That’s such a great idea. I’ve never seen that before. You better let Pillsbury know you’re taking credit. LOL
Great idea and so easy! I second the comment about Pillsbury. ๐
These sound so yummy! Two of my favorite things…I will be trying these.
What a divine little treat!

This is so awesome! โกโฅ
I made these with sugar cookie dough, because I have child allergic to chocolate, and instead of powder sugar add sugar crystals. Planning to do for Christmas party too.
Can’t wait to try these with peanut butter cookie dough and put a dollop of jam in there too. Think it would work? Nummy!
