Sundays are my days for baking, and lately it’s been cookies!! Today I tried a recipe from Picky Palate: Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies. Brett and I can’t stop eating them:) If you like oreos and you like chocolate chip cookies, you’ll love these.
Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies
1 stick softened butter
6 tbs. sugar
6 tbs. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
8 crushed oreos
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugars until well combined. Add egg and vanilla until well mixed. Place flour, soda, and salt in a separate bowl and mix well. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients then stir in oreos and chocolate chips until just combined. With medium cookie scoop, scoop onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes.
I made these several months ago (I think within the first week that I discovered your blog..love it) and they were very yummy! I love Oreos so I was in heaven.
