Top it with some whipped cream and crushed Oreos and sip away.

- 2 cups milk
- 8 tbsp hot cocoa powder (use more or less to make depending on how chocolaty you like it)
- 4-5 Oreos
- Whipped Cream
- Warm milk in the microwave (about one minute) then pour into your Blendtec jar.
- Add cocoa powder and 3 Oreo cookies. Hit the "soup" button on your Blendtec and let it blend.
- Pour cocoa into two mugs and top with whipped cream. Crush the last Oreo over the top of the whipped cream. Serve immediately.
Your first pic is wonderful.
Oh this sounds fabulous!
I don’t have a blendtec, but this hot cocoa sounds delicious!!
The perfect treat for a Saturday 🙂
Yum. Great idea! So simple and yet so perfect 🙂
What kind of hot cocoa mix did you use?
Just Stephen’s plain chocolate
Can you use a regular blender
You can use a regular blender to blend up the oreos but it won’t make the drink hot like a Blendtec can. So i’d just pop it back in the microwave or heat on the stove top after you blend the oreos up.
I told my hubs, I just found a recipe that sounds good, read it out loud and he said, “What are you waiting for?” LOL. So, thanks to finding you on Pinterest, we’re having cookies and cream cocoa this morning!
I made this with peppermint Oreos and it was sooo good!
How many calories is this?
You know I’m not sure…depends on the cocoa powder you use! I thinks it’s one of those we don’t want to know the calories in…an indulgent treat:)!
I can see a lot of sweets in here! But I still want to try it! After indulging myself with cookies & cream hot cocoa, I think I need to visit the dentures New York .
It is very easy to make. Will try this tomorrow.
Looks yummy and delicious! Perhaps after indulging myself with this kind of frappe like drink I should pay some visit to my arkansas dentist to still keep up with my dental health. Also, trying this drink wouldn’t be too much, right?
This looks absolutely fabulous and the novelty of it has got me hooked on the idea. Yum
Its perfect to have it on a rainy day with my partner.
I’ve never used a blender for hot chocolate before! This looks so yummy, I’m going to have to try this one day!
Yes I hope you like it!!
appreciate it, nice post thoptvapp.buzz
I’m surprised that you heat up the milk first. Doesn’t the soup function heat up the drink? I thought you aren’t supposed to put anything hot in the blender.
