The famous Kellie Knapp (a good friend that lives too far away from me) gets all of the credit for these cookies. She is always making crazy good food and shares my love for sweet treats. She made some Chocolate Pudding Cookies once that I couldn’t get enough of….well, a year and a half later they were still on my mind, but with a slight twist. I got the recipe from her, added one ingredient, and gave them a new name. Is that legal? If not, oh well, she still gets all the credit.
Fudgy Cookies n Cream Cookies
Ingredients
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 c. butter, soft
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 small package instant chocolate pudding
2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 bag milk chocolate chips
4 Hershey’s Cookies n Cream candy bar cut into small chunks
Instructions
Combine flour and soda, set aside. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in pudding mix until blended, then eggs and vanilla. Add flour and soda mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and cookies n cream chunks. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. ****Kellie’s original recipe said to bake for 10-12 minutes, but she highly recommended under cooking and letting them sit over night. Eight minutes was the magic number for me and gave them the fudgy factor.
