Monster Eye Cinnamon Rolls

Happy Monday friends! It’s a Monster Party!

A few of my blog friends and I made some really fun sweet treats and gory monster eats for Halloween! Whether you’re throwing a Halloween party, need a treat to take to a party, or just want some fun foods for your kids to enjoy, we’ve got you covered.

I mean, we are talking Blood & Guts and Monster Brains.. So fun right? And Pillsbury comes through making it all super quick and easy!

I made these Monster Eye Cinnamon Rolls and Owen loved them! I love watching the excitement of Halloween through his three year old eyes. He gets it all this year. The pumpkins, the candy, the costumes, the spooky ghosts and goblins, the witches and monsters. Which is exactly why he wants to be the Incredible Hulk for Halloween. “So I can kill all da monsters mom!”

And then eat an entire monster eyeball.

You can imagine the excitement for a three year old, eating a monster eyeball. All you need for these are a tube of Pillsbury Refrigerator Cinnamon Rolls with Icing, some mini Oreos, and red decorator gel. I like to add a little gummy worm just to make it a little more creepy-halloweeny. But really, these are pretty cute if you ask me.

monster eye cinnamon rolls made easily with Pillsbury's Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls!

Ingredients

1 tube Pillsbury Refrigerator Cinnamon Rolls with Icing
8 mini Oreo cookies
8 gummy worms (optional)
1 tub Red decorator gel

Instructions

1. Bake cinnamon rolls according to package directions. Let cool before icing the rolls.
2. Spread icing on rolls, place a mini oreo at the center of each roll. Let the icing set for a few minutes.
3. Using the red decorator gel draw red veins in the eyes. If you want, place a gummy worm on the "eyeball" as well.
