Mother’s Day Family Photoshoot

Earlier this week we were able to do a quick Mother’s Day family photoshoot with Brittany from Reality and Retrospect. She squeezed us in last minute, I sprung it on the boys last minute, and somehow it worked! No tears, just the usual chaos with our boys (wrestling in the sand in between pictures). These are just a few of the pictures Brittany got but I love them all. I promise to hang them in our house this time Brett (I’m kind of the worst at that!) But they are the best Mother’s Day present ever (that I kinda gave to myself….or that Brett didn’t know he was giving to me, hehe)!  

I am just so grateful to be these boys’ mom, it’s the most challenging and rewarding gift (and job, let’s be honest!0 I’ve been given. Even when I’m know I’m not doing any of it right, I’m grateful I get to try. And that they are the most loving and forgiving little boys. I cried at ultrasounds for Miles and Graham, so disappointed I was getting a girl. And now, I can’t imagine not having all boys. I wouldn’t have it any other way now. I’m thankful to my own mom, the best example of selfless mothering; to my mother-in-law, and to all of the incredible examples of motherhood I have to help me in this journey!
