This year has been a fun year of travel, conferences, working with brands, making new friends, and of course, lots of new recipes! I thought it’d be fun to take a look at this year with a photo (or two) a month from 2013, with some of my favorite recipes and memories included.
Let’s take a look…
January– One of the most popular recipes this year- Skinny Funfetti Cake Dip.
A favorite from February– Strawberry Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats. (Yes, I like cake batter!)
March– Spicy Jalapeño Philly Cheesesteak Sliders– a hubby favorite!
April– I ran off some calories in the Salt Lake Half Marathon with my sister-in-law.
and made some dang good Whole Wheat Banana Cinnamon Pancakes
May– BBQ Chopped Chicken Bacon Apple Salad. ‘Twas the bomb.
June– I gained 5 pounds at my first food blog conference in Austin, Texas.
and one of my favorite frozen treats of the summer- Key Lime Pie Frozen Yogurt
July– Coconut Oil Chocolate Chip Cookies were made. Quite possibly my favorite chocolate chip cookie and favorite recipe this year!
Plus an amazing trip with Private Selection to Traverse City, Michigan. We dined in a Cherry Orchard people- it was stunning! August– Took my family to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida- our first real family vacation combined with a conference (thank you thank you thank you Kroger for sending my family!)
Made the perfect game day snack in September– BBQ Chicken Ranch French Bread.
and visited the Duncan Hines test Kitchen in Parsippany, New Jersey. It was my first red carpet experience, hehe.
October favorite– Rolo Stuffed Pumpkin Spiced Pudding Cookies. That ooey gooey caramel was irresistible.
The best thing I ate in November– Pumpkin Bars with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Frosting. MELT IN YOUR MOUTH good.
I discovered the best darn Sugar Cookies in December and ate my weight in the Almond Buttercream Frosting:)
And I spent a weekend in Park City with some of my fav food bloggers, inspiring each other! It was just what I needed to kick off the New Year!
I can’t wait to see the adventures and recipes that 2014 brings! Thanks for reading and helping make 2013 a great year!
