I knew I could count on Christy, The Girl Who Ate Everything (and my sister-in-law), to make something rich, decadent and loaded with peanut butter for my week of Valentine Sweets. She knows me so well and knows that I just can’t resist peanut butter and chocolate! (But then again, neither can she;). I’m in big trouble with this cheesecake! Thanks Christy for being here today!!
Hi guys, I’m Christy, The Girl Who Ate Everything. I rarely meet a food I don’t like and I believe that life is meant for eating! I’m excited to be at Kristy’s place today for a week filled with sweets and decadence.
This cheesecake starts with an Oreo crust and then a layer of chocolate cheesecake topped by a layer of peanut butter cheesecake. And if that wasn’t enough, we’re finishing it off with chocolate ganache and peanut butter cups on top. Can you hear your treadmill calling you? It can wait.
The chocolate ganache is pretty thin going on but it sets up nice and thick in the fridge.
Better use a cookie sheet to catch the extra chocolate.
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 cup milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350
