A good friend of mine shared this recipe with me. She has six kids. Six! It’s beyond me how she gets dinner on the table every night for her family. Every day is a busy day. I like to save my slow cooker for busy days, so if I were her, I’d be using it all the live-long week.
What I love about this Sweet Shoyu Chicken is its versatility. Serve it over rice. Check. Make nachos with it. Check. Wrap it up in a tortilla. Check. Eat it plain. Check, check.
Make it with dark meat, make it with chicken breasts. Double check again.
