This summer, goodnessKNOWS is partnering with the yoga and lifestyle brand, Wanderlust, to host yoga events across the country and encourage attendees to try a little goodness! On Saturday we got to attend the Wanderlust 108 Event here in San Diego with goodnessKNOWS snack squares and seriously had so much fun! I couldn’t believe the turnout!
We were already staying in a hotel downtown with the boys (thanks to our house fiasco), so we decided just to take them with us to the event rather than try to get a sitter at the hotel for the morning. We made it a family affair and took the boys with us! We fit right in with a gaggle of kids 😉
The festival is a triathlon of events- a 5k walk/run, 75 minutes of yoga, and 30 minutes of mindful guided mediation. Owen was a trooper and ran part of the 5k with me while the other boys played at the park! He’s such a good little runner when he decides he wants to, lol. After the run we found the goodnessKNOWS team and lounged at their booth, took some fun photos, and enjoyed some of our favorite snack squares!
We all love their little snack squares–they’re seriously the perfect bite-sized sweet little treat to enjoy without feeling guilty.
I love how goodnessKNOWS is encouraging us to try new things or start new things again this year because every try is a step to being your best. Running is something I’ve always done, but yoga…yoga is definitely not. This massive yoga session led by a DJ with live music was probably the most fun I’ve ever had doing yoga. I didn’t last the full 75 minutes (because our boys definitely weren’t that into the yoga). But it got me really excited to do more yoga, change up my fitness routine and try something I rarely ever do!
We had such a great time at the Wanderlust 108 event, even with the boys! You could feel the positive, happy energy among such a large group of people and I left feeling inspired + rejuvenated (even after a little sweating!) Thank you goodnessKNOWS for having us!
