This is our second winter in San Diego! This one feels colder than our first, but we are totally loving it! It’s cold enough to bundle up in sweaters, scarves, boots and beanies on some days. And on others, you don’t need any of it! Either way, we still get plenty of sunshine and spend a lot of time outdoors, and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing this month!

The beach in December! A little too cold for us to get in the water, but we love hanging out around sunset and just watching the waves. Seriously, we are so lucky to live where we live right now. It’s so different from the negative degree, snowy winters us Coloradans grew up with…but heck to the yes we’ll take it!

We love spending our Saturday mornings at the Farmer’s Market! Sunshine + smoothies in Decemeber, yes please!! Picked up some wintery white florals + tasty food for the holidays while we were there too!

We really wanted to ice skate at the Hotel Del {because skating by the Sea just sounds magical}, but as soon as we realized how crazy and crowded that place is we bagged it. We decided scooting around the hotel and the boardwalk along the beach with the boys would be just as fun!
The Sunday before Christmas we watched Brett’s brother who plays for the Miami Dolphins, play the Chargers. Most of Brett’s family came to visit and watch too! So much fun, even with Miles who crashed half way through! {I’m wearing the Piper in jet black here- love, love love these!}
And a few of our favorite moments made at home…drinking hot cocoa, making cookies, “snowy” bubble baths, Christmas pj’s and of course presents on Christmas morning!
