I’m an impulse buyer. I buy things without putting a whole lot of thought into it or doing any research and shopping around. I tell myself I need it now and my theory is if I don’t like it or feel guilty once I get home, I’ll return it before it even gets used.
My husband is the exact opposite. He’ll do research for days {and days and days, sometimes years} before he buys something. You know it took us two years to buy a car? It would have taken longer but eventually his truck died and we were forced to buy something.
But last month while doing our Saturday Costco run we bought a Blendtec Blender completely on impulse– and it was all Brett’s idea. I thought for sure once we got home he’d feel guilty and want to return it.
It’s been a month and we’re so in love with our Blendtec there’s no way it’s going back. We’ve used it every day since, sometimes several times a day, making shakes, smoothies, and ice cream. It has been worth every penny.
One of our favorite treats to blend up is this Watermelon Agua Fresca! A quick blend of juicy watermelon, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and ice is all it takes. And we like to add a little extra ice to make it nice and slushy!
Watermelon Agua Fresca
Ingredients
4 c. watermelon, seeded and cubed
2 tbs agave nectar
1-2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 c. ice cubes
Instructions
Throw everything in order into your blender, secure the lid, and blend until frothy.

I really hate to read that you are someone who buys on impulse (that’s not bad) but after using it (for awhile?) you return it. I bought a dress one time (I’ll try on at home and maybe then return it…unused) and when I tried it on at home there was a shopping list in the pocket. Yuck….someone wore it and then brought it back.
I guess that came out wrong, I’ll return it UNUSED or UNWORN if I get home and decide I didn’t really need it or feel guilty for the impulse buy.
