Hiiii! It’s been a little quiet here on the blog, but Brett and I just got back from spending six days in Mexico! Just the two of us! Our first vacation in 5 years. We were so overdue for a trip and it was a much needed break from all the responsibilities and diapers changes and packing lunches, homework, interrupted conversations and all the exhausting things. Ya know? We promised we’d take a trip once the twins turned one and I’m so glad we made it happen! We went to Nuevo Vallarta, ate all the good food (and apparently paid for it 😑), experienced the culture, took in the beauty of simple living in several places we visited, relaxed, adventured, reconnected, laughed, talked about our kids and our life goals and dreams. It really was amazing!
But we’re travel rookies and re-entry has been a little rough. Stomach bugs and children who’s behavior now makes us reconsider ever leaving again 😂Is this punishment? I’m kidding. Mostly.
But let’s not talk about that, let’s talk about the fun stuff- like what I packed (and still haven’t quite un-packed)! Target Kimono Tie Cover-up– threw this on to run down to the pool!
Aerie Camp Short- these shorts got the most use! slid them on over a swimsuit for day trips and hiking! They’re soft and comfy too!

ASOS Recycled Frill Bandeau Mono Stripe Swimsuit this is so flattering and stays up (until I have babies pulling it down). but it was the perfect kid-free suit 🙂

Free People Dixie Jane Oversized Sunnies i actually just ordered these (and took an old pair of my fav $25 Free People sunnies with me. these ones are big and fun and we all need them!)
$15 Sun Hat– so many of you immediately asked where this hat was from! i’ll will wear it all spring/summer at the beach!
Vita Liberata Self Tanner Mousse– my SIL recommended this clean-ingredient self tanner, and I actually love it! I’m new to using self-tanner, so I think I’ll get better with practice. You definitely want a mitt to wear when you apply it and I lightly wiped over elbows, knees, ankles after applying everywhere else!
Favorite Beautycounter Sunscreen Mist & Sunscreen Stick; proud to say i didn’t get burnt while in Mexico!
Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer– my go-to for everyday quick/natural coverage with spf 20! made with clean ingredients and makes my skin feel amazing! really the only makeup I wore (plus mascara)
Makeup Removing Wipes– this is all used to clean my face every night and quickly after workouts! love these, plus they are biodegradable so they’re not wasteful!

Fabletics Cashel Crop Swing Tank & Cashel Foldover Powerform Leggings– I have the crop swig tank in several colors so brought a couple- it’s light & airy, love it!
