I think I’ve said it before, but I’m not so much of a breakfast person. Unless of course, my breakfast tastes like oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (they happen to be a favorite). Then I’ll take a stack of four please…..with some milk. And douse them in butter and syrup.
I think I’ll have them for breakfast tomorrow, the next day, and the next.
Little O and I shared that stack of four and even saved some for later. Pancakes that taste like cookies make for a great afternoon snack.

You don’t know me…but somehow I found your blog and am loving it! Anyway, I have now made these pancakes two times, and both of my girls (and husband) are in love with them!! They also go really great with this buttermilk caramel syrup from “Our Best Bites” cookbook. Thanks for sharing!!

I found that the amount of milk it called for was too much. I doubled the recipe and only used 2 cups of milk. Also, I used skim milk.

I had been using semi-sweet chocolate chips (a misread on the recipe in the first place) and substituted milk chocolate instead when I was out of semi-sweet. I’m not big on the sweet tooth thing, and I definitely prefer the semi-sweet. Otherwise, these are awesome! I like knowing I am eating something nutritious without any added sweeteners.
