Post Trick-or-Treating Chili Recipe Roundup

Growing up we always had Chili for our post Trick-or-Treating meal.  I grew up in southern Colorado and it was usually freezing cold come October 31st…sometimes even snowing.  It was typical to wear layers of clothes, beanies, and gloves under our costumes to try and stay warm.  By the time we’d get home our fingers were frozen, the tips of our noses were bright red, shoot, even our chocolate would be hard and cold.

So chili was just what we needed to warm up with.  It’s a tradition my mom started and I plan to continue  with my family as well, cold weather or not.  So here’s a collection of chili recipes- some mine and some from around the web!

Enjoy, and Happy Halloween!
