I can’t wait to make these. I just used the last of my coconut in my homemade granola this morning. Do I go to the store or just leave it out… ๐
Kristy Denney says
Just leave it out!! As long as you have the coconut oil and everything else!!

Kristy! We are twins. I have a no bake cookie to post next week! I need to try your version! I LOVE cooking/”no-baking” with coconut oil!
Jaclyn says
This is kind of embarrassing to admit but I’m yet to buy and use agave. I’m so much of a sugar addict I have a hard time switching over, BUT if it means just using it every once in a while I should definitely give it a try =). These look delicious, awesome post!

That is so funny, I posted a very similar recipe on my blog earlier this wk, great minds think alike.

can something else be used in place of the agave ?
Kristy Denney says
You can use regular sugar, but I haven’t tried any other kind of sweetener! I think honey would work or Stevia or something like that!
sally @ sallys baking addiction says
Kristy!! I just made healthy no bake (and super chewy!) cookies too! I didn’t add coconut, but I added a lot of banana. ๐ Yours look so good and I’ll have to try them next!

I didn’t have any shredded coconut so I went ahead and added about 1/4 cup extra oats in its place and these turned out heavenly. I think the coconut flakes would make them even better, but I would still give these a 9 out of 10 as is. I’m lactose intolerant, so I used sweetened almond milk in place of low fat milk, next time I will use unsweetened. Super easy to make and got my husband’s stamp of approval.
Vanessa says
I will definitley make these again!!
Erin says
I actually made these without heating up any ingredients purely raw and even my hubby loved them! Great recipe !
cheryl says
another good sweetner alternative is coconut nectar, even healthier than agave ๐
Kristy says
awesome! I’ll have to give it a try! Thanks!
