- 12 oz uncooked whole wheat spaghetti
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 (1.2 lb) turkey burger
- 2 ounces turkey pepperoni, sliced in half
- 1 (26 oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (8oz) packaged shredded Italian three- cheese blend
- Cook spaghetti with 1/2 tsp salt in water according to package directions (cook to al dente). Drain and place noodles in a lightly greased 9X13 pan. Set aside.
- Cook turkey burger in a large skillet until cooked through, drain and set meat aside. Wipe skillet out with a paper towel. Add pepperoni slices to pan and cook over medium-high heat stirring occasionally, until slightly crisp (about 4-5 minutes).
- Cover the spaghetti noodles with turkey burger then pour pasta sauce over the top. Sprinkle half of the pepperoni slices evenly over the pasta sauce. Top with Parmesan and Italian cheeses. Arrange remaining pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese.
- Lightly spray one side of aluminum foil with cooking spray and cover the dish with sprayed side down. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted and starting to brown.

pizza & spaghetti…. ummm yeah…. my bf would go NUTS if I made this for dinner one night!!
Kim (Feed Me, Seymour) says
I love this! My family wouldn’t eat it. They’re weirdos and don’t like casserole. So more for me! I’d eat this entire dish for myself. ๐

Tried this for dinner the other night, tasted great! There’s only my husband and I (and a 7 month old, but he’s not quite ready for casseroles yet!), but it was easy to scale this recipe down. Going into the ‘keep’ column ๐
Kristy {Sweet Treats and More} says
So glad you liked it Shannon! Thanks for stopping by!

I’ve made something similar but added a bit of smart balance butter and some Parmesan cheese to the noodles before putting in the pan. Delicious!

I love this recipe. My children absolutely loved it. They all had seconds. We have seven in our family so I made two batches and had lots for leftovers. Thank you for posting this.

Do you cook the noodles First ?
Kristy says
Yes, I’ll add that to the recipe instructions. Thanks! Enjoy!

Looks and sounds delicious!! Oh, if only my picky eater would eat this…he would eat plain spaghetti and the ground turkey meat, but not them together with the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. ๐
Oh well…it’s something different that I can try out for the rest of us. We have plenty of deer meat in the freezer, so I’ll probably use that. ๐
Lyndsey says
I used ground deer meat and turkey pepperoni- it was awesome
Liz says

This was really delicious and a fun dish to make. My family loved it. Thank you!
Sara says
Do you think I could make this the day before baking it?
Phyllis says
We tried this tonight and it was great. The kids were arguing about wanting spaghetti or pizza for dinner so I served them both at once
Debi says
This sounds wonderful. I’d have to change it some since both my husband and I like different pizza toppings. I’d probably make half a meat lovers for him and the other half with the turkey burger, green or red pepper and mushroom for me. I’m definitely going to try this though and I don’t cook very often.
Amanda says
I grew up eating this, just without the ground turkey. Still a favorite in our family!

Sounds like spaghetti with pepperoni, I don’t get the pizza part. Why wouldn’t you make it with pizza sauce?
Kristy says

I am copying your recipe for the Pepperoni /Pizza ,spagetti Casserole. Sounds devine, going to make it this weekend for company. I also copied the recipe for Ice Cream Bars with Lucky Charms with sauces, however , I am curious, you show photo/s of other desserts alongside the Ice cream bars, that look delicious and I would love to make those for my family and for company in two weeks. Is there a possibilty you can send me the other dessert recipes on that page to my email address, I would be so grateful. Thanks a million, Lucy/Jewel
