I’ve partnered with Kraft Foods to bring you several recipes using MIRACLE WHIP Dressing over the next several months. First up and just in time for Easter are these Spicy Deviled Eggs. Deviled eggs are a staple at Easter and one of my favorite appetizers {and a great way to use up all of those died Easter Eggs!} If the crowd you’re feeding likes things a little spicy, they’ll love these spicy deviled eggs made with diced jalapeño!
If you know anything about my husband you know he loves spicy foods, so he was a big fan of these! And surprisingly, they weren’t too spicy for me (I’m usually such a wimp). We are both big fans of MIRACLE WHIP, but if you prefer mayo you can use KRAFT Real Mayo too.
To the MIRACLE WHIP Dressing, add a little dijon mustard, finely diced jalapeño and mix it together with mashed egg yolks. Then just fill your cooked egg whites and your done. These are simple and ready in just 15 minutes!
And to give them a little extra crunch and kick, garnish the eggs with an extra slice of jalapeño!
- 12 hard boiled eggs
- 2/3 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
- 2 tsp GREY POUPON dijon mustard
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely diced
- 1. Peel eggs. Cut in half length-wise. Remove egg yolks and place in a medium bowl. Mash with a fork.
- 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 3. Spoon mixture into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with jalapeño slices (optional).
- recipe from MIRACLE WHIP
- Place eggs in single layer in saucepan; add enough water to completely cover eggs by at least 1 inch. Bring water to a boil; cover. Remove saucepan from heat; let stand 15 min. Drain eggs; immediately place in bowl of ice water. Let stand until completely cooled, changing water if necessary. Perfectly hard-cooked eggs will have a firm yellow center with no greenish tinge.
